Extension privacy policy

What we collect, and when

• Text you type in a LinkedIn or X composer, only when you click Save to workspace
• The text of the post you clicked, only when you click Draft 3 replies
• Names, profile links, headlines and comment text of the people visible in a reactions list or comments you opened on your own post, only when you click Save
• Names, profile links, headlines and comment text of the people in a list you opened (reactions, comments, followers, attendees, people search) or the profile on screen, only when you click Save, and the rows a scroll you started reached
• With scheduled reads on (off by default): the same fields from the pages you pinned, read in a background tab on the schedule you set, at most 6 reads an hour and 40 a day, never between 23:00 and 07:00, never while you are using that network
• With page data reads on (off by default): the same fields from LinkedIn's own page data for the lists you open, up to 30 reads an hour, using the session your browser already has
• The profile link of the profile you have open, only when you open the GrowedditX card on it, to look it up in your workspace
• The visible name, headline and profile link of a person, only when you click Save person
• When you insert or copy a reply: the kind of action, the network, the post link, the post author's name and profile link, and the reply text you chose, for the safety meter and your history with that person
• Which workspace post you filled into the composer and, when you press I posted this, that you posted it, with the post link if you give one
• The author, text and counts of a post, only when you press Save on it or choose it from a timeline scan; the scan itself reads the cards on screen and sends nothing
• Your own follower count and profile link, only when you press Snapshot followers on your own profile

What we never collect

• Cookies or passwords
• Browsing history
• Private messages
• Anything from pages you did not act on or pin
• Anything read in the background unless you turned scheduled reads on

Sharing

Data goes only to your GrowedditX workspace. It is not sold and not used for advertising. AI drafting sends the clicked post's text to our model provider under its no-training terms. The extension fetches its settings from GrowedditX at most every 15 minutes, your People list at most every 10 minutes while a post is on screen, and your profile links, safety meter, ready posts, warm list, swipe file and growth figures when a section needs them; these requests carry no page data. Every on-page feature stays off until you acknowledge this disclosure and pair a workspace, and switches off if the settings cannot be refreshed for 24 hours.

Retention

Recorded replies (inserted or copied) are kept while your workspace exists and are deleted with it, as are the people, drafts, swipes, follower snapshots and goals you saved. On your device, the extension keeps its pairing, its settings and a queue of captures waiting to sync; every queued capture, sent or not, is removed from this browser 24 hours after you queue it. Disconnecting removes the pairing and this browser's queued captures.

Control

Disconnect the browser from the side panel: it always forgets the pairing on this browser, and revokes the device in the app when it can reach GrowedditX. If it cannot, revoke the device in Settings, Devices. Deleting a person or workspace in the app deletes what the extension saved.

Affiliation

GrowedditX is not affiliated with LinkedIn or X. It is an independent browser extension that reads what your own browser shows, and only more than that when you turn a reader on.
